The Marshall County Board of Supervisors renewed a discussion of the possible need for a third justice court judge and constable, in connection with the expansion of the justice complex.
District 4 Supervisor George Zinn III broached the idea, asking whether a forward look at the budget might be needed.
“I think the constable should serve as bailiff,” said District 3 Supervisor Keith Taylor.
“If they don’t, the sheriff has to,” said District 5 Supervisor Ronnie Joe Bennett.
