Holly High loses two to Olive Branch

It wasn’t a good night for Holly Springs basketball teams when Olive Branch came calling Tuesday, Dec. 19.
The visiting 5A teams from neighboring DeSoto County dominated on the court versus their 3A foes.
Coach Sylvester Kilgore said mistakes were costly to his team in a 106-66 loss to the a very talented group of Conquistadors.
Olive Branch is ranked in the top three in the state – all classifications.
The game featured two Dandy Dozen players – big man D.J. Jeffries for Olive Branch and sharp-shooting guard DaQuan Smith for Holly High.
