Maurice Van Hook

Maurice Van Hook, 83, of Byhalia, died Dec. 13, 2017, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic and a veteran.

Services were held at Emory Independent Methodist Church, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Bro.  Mike Johnson officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Emma Evelyn Van Hook; and a sister, Dorothy Jean Herron of Southaven.
