Wheeler Bolden Jr.

Wheeler Bolden Jr., 89, of Magee, died Dec. 3, 2017, at Forrest General Hospital. A native of Mt. Pleasant, he was retired from MS Power and Light Company after many years. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the VFW.

Services were held at 12 noon on Dec. 9 at New Hope Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Arender officiated. Tutor Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a son, Randy Bolden (Tanya) of Cleveland; a daughter Nancy Holloway (Larry) of Mabelvale, Ark.; a sister, Mary Wilson of Mt. Olive; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, George, and Lilburn.
