James Houston Malone

James Houston Malone, 72, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 17, 2017. He was the widower of  Maerean Malone.

Services were held at 12 noon on Nov. 25 at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Wilkins Chapel Church Cemetery.

He leaves four stepchildren, Deborah (Anthony) of Olive Branch, Mae Robbie Richmond (Virgil) of Hernando, Edward Phillips (Stephanie) of Aurora, Ill., Maurice Phillips of Aurora; four sisters, Dorothy McKinney (Amos) of Aurora, Segretta Sims (Roger) of Holly Springs; Annie Brooks of Memphis, Tenn., Christopher Malone of Holly Springs; a brother, William Pete Malone (Linda) of Holly Springs; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jeffries, Dollie Ann Lesure and two brothers, Kenneth (Boney) Malone, Johnny (Hill) Malone.
