Lynette Lindsey

Lynette “Tootie” Palmer Lindsey, 58, of Baldwyn, died Nov. 12, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a long illness. Her first love was for her Lord and Savior and she enjoyed dancing, reading and her Bible study group. She also enjoyed being a part of Lindsey’s Music Barn and spending time with the friends that came each week. She was an employee of Baldwyn School cafeteria before she became ill. She was a member of Hope Church in Tupelo.

Services were held at Waters Funeral Home on Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. with burial in Kirkville Cemetery. Pastor Scooter Nolan officiated.

She leaves her husband, Ricky Lindsey; two daughters, Jennifer Bishop, Autum DeRinaldi (Joseph); stepchildren, Phillip Lindsey (Amy), Michael Lindsey, Amanda Underwood (Thomas); her stepfather Bobby Gray; a sister, Barbara Taylor (Bobby); a brother, John Baker (Dana); a granddaughter, Peyton Henry; and a stepgrandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny Baker and Hilda Day.
