Elton Henry Collins

Elton Henry Collins, 75, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 3, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. A member of St. Mark MB Church, where he was a deacon, he was a retired welder from Pidgeon Thomas Co. after 17 years.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Nov. 9 from 2-7 p.m. and with family from 6-7 p.m., and at the church on Nov. 10 from 9:30 to 10:25 a.m.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 10 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Burial will be in Charity Hill Cemetery. Rev. Patrick Bailey will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Webster L. Mayes Collins; two children, Elton Henry Collins Jr. of Holly Springs, Shawn Rodré Collins of New Albany; four sisters, Odessa Williams of Memphis, Tenn.,  Lillie Nabors, Willie Isom, both of Holly Springs, Frances Turner of Chicago, Ill.; four brothers, Curtis Collins of Holly Springs, Ed Collins, Mac  Arthur Collins, both of Chicago, Marion Collins of Byhalia; and six grandchildren.
