Arillie Jones Finley

Arillie Jones Finley, 106, of Holly Springs, died Oct. 24, 2017, at Great Oaks Health & Rehab in Byhalia. The widow of Charlie Finley, she was a member of Hernando Road Church of Christ and a former member of Chulahoma MB Church, where she served as an usher and was on the Mother’s Board. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. and with family from 6-7 p.m. on Nov. 3, at the funeral home, and on Nov. 4 from 1:30-2:25 at the  church.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 at Yarbrough Chapel CME Church in Holly Springs. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. S.A. Phillips will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two daughters, Geneva Jones of Chicago, Ill., Ollie Mae Gipson of Holly Springs; a son, Johnnie Finley of Calumet City, Ill.; a stepson, Eddie Rivers of Toledo, Ohio; 26 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three children, Ellen Pryor, Pearline Shaw and Charlie Finley Jr.
