Police make arrests on variety of charges

The Holly Springs Police Department made four recent arrests on a variety of charges.
Wednesday, Oct. 18, Hezekiah Walton, 25, of Hwy. 178 West, was charged with felony possession of marijuana and felony possession of MDMA (ecstasy), according to chief Dwight Harris. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop initiated October 17 on Memphis Street. Bond was set at $10,000.
Saturday, Oct. 21, police were dispatched to the area of Clarice Drive in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival officers encountered a suspect, who after a brief foot pursuit, was taken into custody.
