Deputies make burglary arrests

Two people were charged in a residential burglary in Barton and one charged in a grand larceny case, according to Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
A residential burglary took place October 4 in the 300 block of Sweetwater Road in the Barton area, he said. Eight firearms were stolen.
Suspects gained entry through a side door. They were arrested in DeSoto County October 5, Dickerson said.
George Krieger, 20, of the 200 block of Oakwood Drive, Barton, and Nathan Umberger, 20, of the 900 block of Highway 305, were arrested and charged with residential burglary. Krieger bonded out at $5,000 and Umberger bonded out at $15,000, the sheriff said.
