Brent just received his master’s in opera from the University of Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from Ole Miss. The beautiful home of Vicki Swords was the backdrop for a Sip and See Sunday afternoon honoring her newest granddaughter, Mary Franklin Settle. Amy Mask and Vicki hosted the event which featured beautiful floral arrangements from Regel and Company and a delicious array of finger foods by Southern Eatery.

Mary Franklin and her mother, Leslie Swords Settle, greeted guests at the door. She was angelic in a beautiful pink bubble. Her older sister, Audrey, was as pretty as a picture in an adorable smocked dress and darling white Mary Jane shoes.

Emma and David Woods welcomed their second daughter, Mae Elizabeth, into the world last Wednesday. Sweet Corrine, her older sister, was all smiles seeing her baby sister for the first time. Congratulations to y’all!

Kay Wheeler and I joined Caitlyn Brooks and Melanie Bray Saturday in Cleveland. The ladies of Phi Mu hosted a mother’s luncheon. We made sugar bath scrub and enjoyed a beautiful lunch. Afterwards, we meandered around the cute boutiques and antique stores on the strip.
