Daffiney Loretta Kimmons-Harris

Daffiney Loretta Kimmons-Harris, 50, of Holly Springs, died  Oct. 10, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. She was a self-employed caregiver.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on Oct. 14 at Sand Hill MB Church, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Dr. Patrick Washington officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, George Grant Harris; two children, Jennifer Kimmons of Starkville, Christopher Kimmons of Ashland; three stepdaughters, Jasmine Harris, Jalisa Harris, both of Holly Springs, Marquita Poole of Ashland; her father, Junior L. Kimmons of Holly Springs; three sisters, Lucy Walls, Betty Yates, Ella Kimmons, all of Holly Springs; three brothers, Cartica Kimmons of Byhalia, Michael Kimmons of Huntsville, Ala., Billy Kimmons of Holly Springs; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three siblings, John Kimmons, Curtis “Ricky” Kimmons and Brenda Crawford.
