Larry Donell “Hump” Ayers, 59, of Lamar, died Sept. 30, 2017, at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 7 at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Palastine Cemetery in Michigan City. Bishop L.T. Mason officiated.
He leaves two sons, Johnathan Lewis (Nikki), Wayne Jones (Marketa), both of Holly Springs; his mother, Dorothy Ayers; two sisters, Georgia Jackson (O.C.), Shirley Ayers (Rickey), both of Lamar; three brothers, William Ayers Jr. (Jessie Mae), Brian Ayers (Tanya), Beasley Ayers (Ann), both of Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Ayers Sr.; and a sister, Sarah Ayers.
