Event connects job seekers with employers
The City of Holly Springs hosted a job fair September 21 with several companies looking to hire.
Participating employers from within Marshall County included Niagra, Ryder (McCormick), Contract Fabricators Inc., Ashley Furniture, Marshall County Correctional Facility, Holly Springs Police Department, Holly Springs Utility Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, plus staffing agencies like LSI.
Lepher Jenkins, warden at Marshall County Correctional Facility, said MTC is holding a hiring blitz to take applications for officers. He is looking for a new class of 25 to 30 people to send to the academy. Opportunities to be a part of this class will be open for another week or two, he said.
