Byhalia drops district opener

The running game alone did not work for Byhalia versus Corinth Friday night.

The Indians lost 34-15 at home to the Warriors in the Region 1-4A opener for both schools.

“We played a good football team,” said John Danley, head coach at Byhalia. “No excuses, they were the better football  team.

“Offensively, we are one dimensional and that’s hurting us. Teams are stacking the box on us, and we have to be able to throw the football. Right now, we’re unable to do that, and we have to make some adjustments.”
