To the Editor:

Sue, what can I say?  Your article in The South Reporter really captured the fun and essence of an historical event – imagine, Chickasaw dancers performing in their old watering place, Chickasaw elders sitting on benches watching, the historic return of their people to their homeland after so many years of exile.  

How I would like to dig far into their emotions and impressions of this welcome back to their ancient paths. But what diversity and energy we felt – everyone. Our First People are now back with us – and they want to come back next year. I have a strong feeling it is going to happen.
