Public’s help crucial to law enforcement

Maj. David Cook, patrol commander with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, emphasizes the importance of the public’s help when it comes to crime-fighting.

He was the guest speaker for the September 20 meeting of the Holly Springs Rotary Club.

“We need the people’s help,” Cook said. “If you see something that doesn’t look right, call us. Simple things can lead to major things when it comes to crime.

“We want to help as many people as we can.”
