Crews with Murphy’s Custom Brick worked recently to stabilize the east wall, including the stained glass windows, at First United Methodist Church of Holly Springs on Van Dorn Avenue. Through the gaping hole in the east wall can be seen scaffolding, plus a window on the west side. A portion of the east wall of the historic church building collapsed on August 22.
