Indians crush Cougars

All the Indians tasted game action on homecoming night.

Byhalia, with a big crowd on hand for the festivities, coasted to a 40-0 win over Coldwater and upped its season record to 3-2 prior to the start of district play.

“We went up early and took control and had a chance to play everybody,” coach John Danley said. “The main thing is – I wanted us to come out of the game healthy, no injuries, with a big district game ahead (versus Corinth).”

The Indians scored on their first series of the game and never looked back. They traveled 70 yards in three plays, all runs by Tyrico Richmond. He scored on an 8-yard carry.
