Hasselman joins Northwest Hall of Fame

Northwest Mississippi Community College inducted two former student-athletes and one coach into its Sports Hall of Fame during homecoming week on the Senatobia campus.
The induction ceremony was held Thursday, Sept. 21, at the David M. Haraway Center.

Dr. Gerald J. Hasselman, a former All-MACJC center, Don Edwards, the winningest women’s basketball coach in school history, and two-time all-conference third baseman Marcus Van Every entered the prestigious hall.
Hasselman, a Holly Springs native, had his fair share of big performances while starring on the basketball court at Northwest in 1964-66.
