Omia Dell Clayborn James

Omia Dell Clayborn James, 90, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 18, 2017, at her home. The widow of Roger James Sr., she was a housewife.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 24 at Yarbrough Chapel CME Church in Holly Springs, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Eddie Goliday will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Claudette Goliday of Oxford; four sons, Roger James Jr. of Holly Springs, Melvin James, Perry James, both of Memphis, Tenn., James Artis Clayborn of Holly Springs; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Corrine Falkner.
