Gerald Walker Chrestman

Gerald Walker Chrestman, 82, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 4, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a sales executive at Sears. In honor of his service to his country, the United States Air Force flag was flown at the funeral home.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 7 at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Waterford with burial was in the church cemetery. Waller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Betty Maxine Chrestman; four daughters, Heather Chrestman Coolican of Bartlett, Tenn., Stephanie Clark Hood of Clarksdale, Kimberlie Clark Taylor, Sharla Clark, both  of Pensacola, Fla.; a son, John Chrestman of Bartlett; a sister, Delores Grantham of Grenada; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Chrestman, and a brother, Billy Ray Chrestman.
