Heather Hurdle and Anthony Hilla to exchange vows July 15 at Paris-Yates Chapel in Oxford

Mr. and  Mrs. Joseph Hurdle of Lamar announce the engagement of their daughter Heather Rhea Hurdle to Anthony Donald Hilla of Ortonville, Mich. Anthony is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hilla of Byron, Mich.

Miss Hurdle is a 2005 graduate of Marshall Academy and a 2010 graduate of the University of Mississippi, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English. Heather is a teacher and administrator at the Discovery School in Birmingham, Ala.

Mr. Hilla is a 2003 graduate of Brandon High School in Ortonville and a 2010 graduate of Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. Anthony is the general manager for Centerplate at the University of Alabama.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Paris-Yates Chapel on the campus of the University of Mississippi. A reception will follow at the Powerhouse.

The couple will reside in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
