Joann Isom Boyd

Joann Isom Boyd, 65, of Holly Springs, died June 24, 2017, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. The widow of Winfred Boyd, she was a member of the kitchen committee at her church and a retired, self-employed boutique owner.

Visitation will be June 30 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home, and on July 1 from 10-10:55 a.m. at the church..

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on July 1 at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks, where she was a member. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. S.A. Phillips will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Phylisha Carter of Holly Springs; a son, Tarance Isom of Hampton, Ga.; a sister, Carol Cook of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Henry Mack Isom of Potts Camp, Curtis Isom of Sikeston, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terrilyn Isom.
