Group of avid golfers on trek across Ireland

Rick Cleveland, Steve Gresham, Charlie Farris, Bubba Jourdan, Bob Lomenick, Donnie Miller, Pat Ellis Stubbs and John Sturbridge are currently on a golf trek across Ireland. The men played famed course, Tralee, which was designed by golf icon, Arnold Palmer.

Farris Franks of Memphis, Tenn., spent time with his grandparents, Jane and Charlie Farris, and Uncle Buddy last week. One of the days, he attended the Marshall Academy daycare and positively loved it!

AnnYager and Alex McCrosky and gorgeous infant, MaryRives, of Danville, Ky., were seen in town this weekend.

Saturday night, Montrose was turned into an absolute fairy tale for the wedding of Kelsey Shaw and Davis Clayton. Regel and Company did a beautiful job in turning the side yard into a beautiful sight, including the tall, clear ceiling  tent which was lined with white lights. The food was delicious and unique, all with a Mediterranean flare. Draper’s Catering of Memphis did a superb job. The bride’s cake was elegant, with beautiful flowers on each tier as well as different flavors of cake. The groom’s cake was topped with a flying duck, absolutely the most amazing cake in person. Jennifer Thompson of Ashland is truly the best cake designer, decorator and baker in these parts!

The couple, as well as their guests, enjoyed the live music while they danced the night away. Luckily, it all wrapped up prior to the big storm! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Davis Clayton!

Alice Buchanan of Auburn, Ala., has been the guest of her mother, Frances Buchanan. They had to escape to Andy and Debbie Buchanan’s house for a night due to the loss of power.
