Henry E. Reaves Jr.

Henry E. Reaves Jr., 62, of Holly Springs, died May 15, 2017, in Ashland. A graduate of Rust College, he was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army for five years and in the U.S. Navy for 20 years.  He was a farmer. He was a member of Macedonia CME Church in Ashland.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on May 21 at Greenwood MB Church in Lamar with burial in Macedonia Church Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Winifred Rutherford Reaves of Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif.; a son, Henry E. Reaves III of Memphis, Tenn.; three daughters, Marsha Hubbard of Holly Springs, Ginevera Reaves II of Twenty-Nine Palms, Naomi Reaves II of Memphis; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Naomi Reaves.
