Raymond Allen

Raymond Allen, 84, of Lamar, died April 2, 2017, at his home. He was a farmer and formerly employed at Troxel.
Services were held April 4 at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Lamar, where he was a member. Burial was in Allen Cemetery. Bro. Don Worsham and Andy Skelton officiated. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Boliver, Tenn., was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Minnie Theo Allen; sons, Roger Allen (Melba) of Bolivar, Tenn., Donald Allen (Vickie) of Lamar; a daughter, Elizabeth Williams (Kevin) of Lamar; a sister Sussie Byrd of Lamar; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, Billy W. Allen, three sisters, three brothers and one great-grandchild.
