Willie Mae Lutts
Willie Mae Lutts, 89, died March 7, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Crowder. The widow of James Jake Lutts, she was a cook and a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hinchcliff.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on March 9 at the Kimbro Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Shelby Cemetery in Shelby.
She leaves five daughters, Ruby Golden (Lesley) Holmes of Rossville, Tenn., Betty Golden Jenkins of Marks, Wanda Lutts (Don) Omedeo of Lamar, Nuncy Lutts (George) Cook of Crowder, Frances Lutts Phillips of Batesville; two sons, Billy (Becky) Golden of Randleman, N.C., Roy Lutts of Batesville; a sister, Minnie Pearl Harvey of Drew; 19 grandchildren and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Gary Vernon, Robert Lewis, J.C. Golden, five brothers, Truman, John, J.D., Dewey, Charles “Shorty” Morgan; a sister Mamie Charlene Golden, and a great-granddaughter, Shelby Leigh Golden.
