Qualifying ends for municipal elections

Four candidates qualified before the Friday deadline to run for mayor of Holly Springs.

They are incumbent Kelvin Buck and challengers André De’Berry, Kennard King and Rodney “Duv Sac” Lowe.

There will be two candidates in four of five races for alderman. Incumbent Ward 3 alderman Mark Miller is unopposed.

For alderman at-large, incumbent Tim Liddy will face challenger Barbara Caldwell.
