Sally Mae Martin Mosby Holloway
Sally Mae Martin Mosby Holloway, 72, of Holly Springs, died Feb. 17, 2017, at her home. A member of Yarbrough Chapel CME Church, she was in the choir choir, attended the Bible study and was a former class leader in Sunday School.
Visitation will be held Feb. 24 from 2-7 p.m., and with family from 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home and on Feb. 25 from 10-10:55 a.m. at the church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 25 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministry with burial in the Yarbrough Chapel CME Church Cemetery. Rev. Joe T. Lester will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her husband Oscar Holloway; four children, Shaqueena McKinney (Dee), Jaquavius McKinney of Holly Springs, Lawrence Mosby (Evon) of Aurora, Ill., Floyd Holloway of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a sister, Darlene Shipp (Russell) of Aurora; three brothers, Chester Jr. Burgess (Chris), Clde Burgess, both of Aurora, John Burgess (Patricia) of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Mosby, a daughter, Little Baby Girl Mosby, three sisters, Elease Nunnely, Ruth Smith, Little Baby Girl Burgess; four brothers, Robert E. Mosby, Willie Burgess, Henry L. Burgess and Raymond Burgess.
