Rosie Jean Lesure

Rosie Jean Lesure, 65, of Coldwater, died Jan. 6, 2017, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. She was the widow of Eunice Lesure Sr. and a homemaker

Services were held at 12 noon on Jan. 14 at Hopewell MB Church, where she was a member. Burial was in New Independence Church Cemetery in Coldwater. Rodgers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Patricia Henson of Horn Lake; a son, Eunice Dewayne Lesure Jr. of Coldwater; sisters, Ethel Milam of Coldwater, Lucy Alexander of Senatobia, Ollie B. Howell of St. Louis, Mo., brothers, Chester Newson of Sardis, Karl Newson of Byhalia, Eddie Newson of Horn Lake, Jessie Newson, James Newson, Willie Sturdivant Jr., Robert Sturdivant, all of Coldwater, Fred Newson of New York, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.
