Matthew Thomas “M.T.” LeSueur

Matthew Thomas “M.T.” LeSueur, 81, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 1, 2017, at his home. The widower of Nellie Ree Gatewood LeSueur, he was a retired supervisor for the City of Holly Springs.  He was on the deacon board, a member of the male chorus, Powell Chapel Masonic Lodge #339 and with the Silver Stars singing group for over 50 years.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 7 at Free Branch MB Church in Holly Springs, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Tyrone Miller officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves two daughters, Dorothy Mae LeSueur, Marie Antionette Miller, both of Holly Springs; two sons, Thomas LeSueur, Daniel LeSueur, both of Holly Springs; a sister, Minnier Pearl Craine of Milwaukee, Wisc; two brothers, Robert LeSueur, Paul Edward LeSueur, both of Holly Springs; 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
