Dorothy Opal Smith, 84, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 17, 2016, at Christopher’s Personal Care Home. The widow of Ben William Smith, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a former employee of Sunbeam factory.
Services were held on Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Laws Hill. Bro. Donald Worsham officiated.
She leaves two sons, Ben William Smith of Byhalia, Roger Clay Smith (Kellye) of Olive Branch; two daughters, Judy McClusky (Gene) of Holly Springs, Elaine McMillen (Gary) of Potts Camp; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
