Gary Silvey, 68, of Oxford, died Dec. 11, 2016, at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab in Holly Springs. He lived in Holly Springs for a short time also. He was a superintendent for Grantham and Ken Ash Construction Co. He worked in construction for 42 years and was also employed with Ace Hardware. He was a Christian.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 14 at Red Banks Cemetery. Pastor Jonathan Childress officiated. Serenity-Martin Funeral Home of Oxford was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Sherry Silvey; a daughter, Michelle of Texas; a son, Shawn, of Wisconsin, a stepson Michael (Heather) Cook of Holly Springs and five grandchildren.
