The Chulahoma community has been restored to wholeness from the loss of a cannery building at the Northeast Mississippi Community Service Center on Highway 4 West.
The building, which was flattened by the December 23, 2015, tornado, has been built back.
Supervisor George Zinn III was in charge of the ribbon cutting celebrating the reconstruction of the community center building in his district.
He said the Chulahoma area was the first in the county to be struck by the twister that began in Clarksdale and ended up in East Mississippi.
