Hill Crest group wants to help

A group of folks interested in preserving and improving upkeep of historic Hill Crest Cemetery have been seeking ways to gather suggestions to put before the mayor and board of aldermen for consideration.

The group was represented by Jim Moore and Robin McNeill but is made up of a number of residents of Holly Springs who want formal recognition as a Hill Crest Cemetery Advisory Group.

A group of about 20 has met to discuss how citizens can provide input into the promotion of Hill Crest Cemetery as a tourist attraction and how to improve maintenance, Moore said.
