|One person was killed in an automobile accident Friday night in the city limits of Holly Springs. The accident happened about 10:40 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive/Highway 178 West.|
|Marshall County Coroner James Richard Anderson said Montra Derell Bailey, 25, died when he lost control of the car he was driving and it left the road, hit two trees and flipped. Anderson said Bailey was ejected, and he was pronounced dead on the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle.|
|He said Bailey was traveling east, into Holly Springs, when the accident occurred. Anderson said he received the call at 11:03 p.m.|
As the governor and state agencies pour over budget requests this fall, the Marshall County Board of Supervisors discussed the ramifications with county consultant Gary Anderson.
