The Byhalia High School Band performs at the Market Festival, a project of the Byhalia Area Chamber Main Street. The festival was held each Thursday in August.
The Holly Springs mayor and board of aldermen met August 19 to work on the fiscal year 2021-2022 budget, which will be adopted September 9.
A heavy crane is used to drive steel pilings that will support the new elevated Salem Avenue bridge under construction in Holly Springs. The extensive project will continue for about a year.
The Marshall County Board of Supervisors continues to press hard to enforce regulations on subdivision construction.
