Suspect charged with commercial burglary

On Thursday Nov. 23, at approximately 9:48 p.m., the Holly Springs Police Department was dispatched to Citi Trends at 277 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in reference to a burglar alarm.
Upon arrival, officers found a suspect hiding inside the rear of the store, according to chief Dwight Harris.
The suspect was identified as Marco Rooks, 32, of Holly Springs, he said.
Rooks was transported to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and after an investigation, Rooks was charged with one count of commercial burglary, Harris said. Bond was set at $25,000.
