A Marshall County deputy is undergoing surgery for several gunshot wounds to his extremities, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.

Anthony Faulkner, Edward Banks, Simpson Stroupe and Jessie A. Fesmire apply mulch to the beds at the Marshall County Veterans Memorial on the courtsquare in Holly Springs.
The Marshall County jail is set to get some additional security fencing that will take in more of the property in front and behind the jail.
