Yard of Month for courthouse

The Marshall County Courthouse lawn was selected as Yard of the Month by the Town and Country Garden Club. In the top photo, from left, are Carlos Raimey, Edward “Pokie” Banks, Chuck Thomas and Anthony Faulkner. In the photo above, Liz Wicker, with the Town and Country Garden Club, and chancery clerk Chuck Thomas celebrate the beauty of the veterans’ memorial on the courthouse lawn in Holly Springs. Barrett Ash of Potts Camp provides the landscaping and upkeep for free to honor veterans. Richard Williamson donated and planted the boxwoods, roses and crepe myrtles.
