Woman dies when struck by vehicle

| A Byhalia resident was killed after being struck by an automobile as she walked on the roadside near the I-22 and I-269 exit at Byhalia, according to coroner James Richard Anderson. |
| He said DeCie Isom, 32, of Rabbit Ridge Road, was walking eastbound on the side of I-22 after having car trouble. She was pronounced dead on the scene. |
| Anderson said the accident took place around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20. |
