Employees with the Holly Springs Utility Department disrupted a six-inch water main while attempting to install a tap that would be used for irrigation of the new landscaping areas downtown. The leak was at the corner of South Market Street and Van Dorn on May 12 around 10:30 a.m. Cornelius Jeffries clears away caked soil and rock around the broken water main so HSUD can place a cuff around the leak.
