Warden Jenkins leaving Marshall County

Lepher Jenkins, who came to the Marshall County Correctional Facility in May 2017, has left his post to take a job as warden at the MTC facility in Diboll, Texas.
He also served as warden at Marshall County from January 2004 to March 2008.
Jenkins told employees at the local facility when he returned to Marshall County that he wanted to go back home to Texas, and that if he was offered a job within 100 miles of his home, he would take it, said Beverly McMullen, compliance coordinator.
