Uniting against cancer

A drive-by luminaria event, hosted by Marshall County Relay for Life, was held Saturday,Aug. 29, on the courthouse square in Holly Springs. Candles were lit in honor of those who are battling cancer and in memory of those who have died from the disease. In the top photo, from left, are Vickie Duke, Willie Cornelious, Felicia Jeffries, Harriet Hearn, Lisa Liddy, Linda Wilson, Landry Hearn, Constance Mason, Eva Lay and Juanita Taylor. All proceeds from purchase of luminarias go to Marshall County Relay for Life.
