Two local teams win quarterfinals, advance to semi-finals

H.W. Byers High School 1A and Byhalia High School 3A, won their quarterfinals games last week. Byers beat Biggersville HighSchool Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Itawamba Community College 70-67. Byers lost to McEvans Hawks, of Shaw, Monday, Feb. 27, with a final score 80-69, in Jackson. Byhalia goes up against Southeast Lauderdale Wednesday, March 1 at 1:30 p.m. in Jackson.
