Two adults were killed and two children injured in an accident on South Red Banks Road Thursday, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
A call was received by 911 around 8:50 p.m., June 28, regarding a collision between a car and a cotton trailer loaded with hay that was being pulled by a one-ton truck, he said.
The driver of the pickup told Maj. Kelly McMillen, with the sheriff’s department, he was pulling out of a field and parked in the northbound lane of the road in order to disengage his four-wheel drive he used to get out of the field.
