Two charged in shootings

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with midFebruary shootings in the City of Holly Springs.

Police Chief Grant Glover said Tytereron Richards, 20, of the 300 block of Rolfing Road, Holly Springs, is charged with attempted murder and driveby shooting into a dwelling.

Cameron Faulkner, 20, of the 800 block of West Ridge Cove, Holly Springs, is charged with drive-by shooting into a dwelling, he said.

The incidents took place on February 12-13.

Police received a report of an attempted murder in the 350 block of Van Dorn Avenue Saturday, Feb. 12, between 10 and 11 p.m.

Glover said a black male, in his mid-20s, was shot multiple times and taken to Regional One Health in Memphis, Tenn., in stable but serious condition. He was released from the hospital a few days later.

Two drive-by shootings then occurred February 13 and are believed to be connected to the incident on Van Dorn, Glover said.

At 2:30 a.m. February 13, a shooting into a dwelling was reported in the 600 block of Ventura Cove, and at 2:45 a.m., another was reported in the 600 block of Westlake Drive. No one was injured.

Richards’ bond was set at $1 million, according to the police chief, while Faulkner’s bond was set at $500,000.

“We are looking for three or four more suspects who we believe were involved in these shootings,” Glover said.
