Team Waste to handle debris

Officials with Team Waste, a solid waste disposal company under contract with Marshall County to pick up household solid wastes, has been offered a one-month contract to help the City of Holly Springs remove curbside limbs and stumps.

The city has only two knuckle boom trucks to pick up tree debris. Team Waste will help gather up the debris and dispose of it in its rubbish landfill in Chickasaw Trail Industrial Park.

The company offered to supply 24-yard trucks to make four runs to the landfill a day. Company officials expect most of the debris can be picked up in one month. If not, the city can opt to finish up the chore using a day rate.
