Suspects charged in old murder cases

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has charged suspects in two old murder cases.
Sheriff Kenny Dickerson said the investigations have been ongoing, some for years, and suspects were developed as a result of the cooperation of numerous local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
Four suspects have been identified in the June 20, 2009, murder of Phillip Lynn Watts, 54, a paraplegic who was beaten to death at his home in Potts Camp.
Watts was found naked and beaten to death in his driveway, Dickerson said.
